Legal Work-Shop on the EFET General Agreement and its Applicability in the Serbian and Croatian Energy Market

Darija Ognjenovic and Ana Calic-Turudija, as EFET counsels, spoke on the application and enforceability of the EFET general agreements under Serbian law at the legal work-shop on the EFET General Agreement and its Applicability in the Serbian and Croatian Energy Market held in Belgrade on April 14, 2008.

Special Event Moot Court

The Law Office is a sponsor of the Faculty of Law Belgrade University and its students at the Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot, the international moot court competition at the Vienna University, organized by the Pace University (USA) and UNCITRAL, whose goal is to foster the study of international commercial law and arbitration for resolution of international business disputes through its application to a concrete problem of a client and to train law leaders of tomorrow in methods of alternative dispute resolution. Darija Ognjenovic has participated as an arbitrator at the pre-moot event where a significant number of law faculties world-wide competed held at the Faculty of Law Belgrade University on March 8-9, 2008.

At the Third Annual Conference on Real Estate held at Hyatt Hotel on March 3rd and 4th, 2008, Darija Ognjenovic, as a panelist at the first panel session, gave an outline of the open issues that foreign investors face when contemplating a real estate investment in Serbia.
