Government and industry leaders know that privatization is a complicated process, with business concerns and a government’s responsibilities to its people in a delicate balance. We have the local presence and on-site knowledge that are often crucial for successful privatization transactions.  The full scale privatization commenced in 2001 with the enactment of the Privatization Law which has set the target to privatize all state and socially-owned enterprises through the end of 2008.

Prica & Partners actively participated as a counsel on the buyer’s side in the first tender privatization of the largest cement factory by Lafarge in 2001.  Since then, we have been continuously involved, either on the buyer’s or on the seller’s side, in different privatization projects that include the privatization of major banks, metal production companies, breweries, tour operators, tire processing companies, chemical industry; Our latest assignment is the largest privatization project of 2007 and 2008 in Serbia, in which we represent Gazprom Neft in the privatization of petrol industry of Serbia (NIS).
